The hotel has a very old tradition and saw visits from many many famous people. For example in 1838, Queen Victoria of England: It was in her honour that the hotel was called "Royal Victoria".

Completely restored, it has 43 rooms all with private bathroom-wc, telephone, television, mini bar, and air conditioning.
